John Willis and his Mni Wiconi artwork

It's always a pleasure to meet John Willis. Yesterday, we met to transfer his Mni Wiconi artwork exhibit. He was on his way from Vermont to meet a a gallery curator in Boston. It was bittersweet to let go of the exhibit, The Floyd Gallery took possession of it in mid-September. We exhibited it at the Monson House of Art, The Robert Floyd Photo Gallery, and Easthampton Media. Patricia Crutchfield curated all three exhibits most successfully. All well received and a successful run. His Mni Wiconi books have arrived and are available for a short time at The Gallery. We parted ways wishing each other well. It wasn't quite 8:00 am yet. What a long day this was going to be I thought, and it was. Always an honor to see John Willis.
The Floyd Gallery will only plan to exhibit in Easthampton Media for March as well as June, the former for our Ms. Pat Crutchfield exhibit and the latter for the recent Massachusetts Cultural Council grant award for Environmentalism Awareness. Stay tuned.
