Celebrate Kestrel Land Trust: 50 Years and Going Strong

Enter your images of landscapes, critters, and people having fun on Conservation Areas that Kestrel Land Trust assisted in preserving in the Pioneer Valley.

​​​​​​The Robert Floyd Gallery invites photographers to visit any of the conservation areas that Kestrel Land Trust assisted in preserving here in the Pioneer Valley. and photograph their landscapes, critters, and other folks enjoying the properties.

Guidelines:

• Submit images taken in any year.
• Identify the property.
• Gather contact information when there are people in your images.
• Agree that Kestrel Land Trust may use your image(s) for future promotions with photo credit.
• Preferred image size: 3000px wide @ 300ppi
• Email your .jpeg or .tiff file to floyd@floydgallery.com

• Entry fee per digital image: $25 each regardless of the categories:
• 1 Landscape including flowers and intimate landscapes.
• 2 Critters including birds, insects, mammals, et al.
• 3 People enjoying the conservation areas.
• Select images earn:
  • Publication in our weekly Floyd Gallery newsletter, Gallery Facebook page, and website.
  • Entry in the Floyd Gallery exhibit sponsored by the Monson Arts Council at their Monson House of Art, Monson, MA, from September 30 to October 9, 2022.
  • Presentation of images to Kestrel Land Trust for their consideration for future publications and publicity

Photographers will mat and frame their selected image(s) for the exhibit with a minimum ink space of approx. 11” X 14”.

Entry Fee: none per each framed artwork

Deadline for Digital Entries: now extended to September 13, 2022

Photographers with selected images will deliver their framed artwork to Monson House of Art on Thursday, September 29, or make other arrangements.

Artwork is for sale, and your selling price will include a 20% commission each for Monson Arts Council and The Robert Floyd Gallery.

Winners will be announced on September 30, 2022, during the award ceremony.

NOTE; THE MONSON HOUSE OF ART NEEDS TO CLOSE ITS 2ND FLOOR. THE EXHIBIT WILL BE SOLELY ON THE GLORIUS 1ST FLOOR; NO WORRIES.
