The opening reception was held on Saturday, June 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at e-media in the Eastworks Building, Easthampton, MA. 

 

" "Abstracts in Nature," invites you to explore the natural world’s captivating interplay of colors, patterns, and shapes. We aim to heighten the abstraction's emotional and visual impact by embracing simplicity and stripping away excess details. 

Our objective is to showcase artwork that captures the essence of a subject’s character—its lines, forms, and vivid colors. 

Our talented photographers achieve this by drawing closer to their subjects, distilling each scene to reveal its true essence. 

This theme celebrates the beauty of simplicity, emphasizing how a thoughtful arrangement of colors, patterns, and shapes can create a profound connection with the viewer. 

In this exhibit, the fewer details, the more powerful the expression becomes."
