Julius Lester is in The Gallery_ALIVE_with his Black South artwork.
One night...open to the public...come see
"Photographs From the Black South, 1966 - 1969" © Julius Lester.
Yes, this is the exhibit Robert Floyd drove down to Princeton University and promised it would be exhibited here in The Robert Floyd Photo Gallery.
Next? Many of the artwork will travel to the Monson Arts Council hosting The Robert Floyd Photo Gallery and Learning Center's "Moving Towards Social Justice," MAY 18 - 28. A strong part of that exhibit is centered on the artwork of Julius Lester, his renowned "Photographs From the Black South, 1966 - 1969" artwork created when he represnted SNCC, Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.
Thos special collection will NOT be for sale. It will return to Julius Lester's home immediately after the Monson exhibit.
Thank you...
