Guided field trip to Loudville Mine, Southampton, MA.

The Gallery celebrates Earth Day 2018 like no other. Join us for an expert guided tour of the famous Loudville Mine in Southampton, MA. No longer active and on private property, we have permission to join our field trip leaders, Andrew Brodeur plus the president of the CT Minerals group. Here's a look into the history of the Loudville Mine.

We invite 25 interested souls...as promised... to join us for

a FREE guided tour of the famous Southampton's Loudville Mine.

• Meet at The Gallery parking lot on East Street, Sunday, APR 22.
• We car pool to the mine area at 10:00 am sharp.
• Bring hikers or work boots for a wet spot or 2, gloves to handle specimens found, water for thirst and to clean specimens, camera to play, and a hat for the sun.
• Andrew has permission to enter this private property.
• Andrew Brodeur presented an awesome presentation on “Minerals” at The Gallery. 21 Gallery Visitors witnessed his enthusiasm. Here is a “Talc” sample.
