Photo workshop adventure in Newfoundland.

Newfoundland: Icebergs (in season), Puffins, Gannets, Whales with Ed Judge and Robert Floyd

Explore a unique and wonderful landscape while elevating your photography to the next level! Have fun while getting personal instruction capturing images in the field and refine your image processing techniques at night with the guidance of an Adobe Certified Expert. 

Early July 2022 (11 Days) You are invited to have us drive your heavier equipment up to Newfoundland leaving The Gallery.

Take your photography skills to the next level:

• World-class photography instruction with Robert Floyd. Climb aboard for a photo adventure and experience the magical interaction Robert is known for!
• Show interest, ask for details, and establish a dialogue with no end.
• Capture away, have fun, and grow as a photographer! As you capture images, he will offer critiques and challenge you to stretch your comfort zone with new ways of seeing and thinking.
• Robert will use his well-developed instinct to seek out amazing photographic opportunities for you. It is about being in the right place at the right time!

Take your image processing skills to the next level:

• Lightroom and Photoshop instruction with Ed Judge, Adobe Certified Expert.
• Refine the images taken of each day's adventures in real-time on the trip with the guidance of an Adobe Certified Expert!
• In the evenings, Ed will provide participants with individual attention in using Lightroom and Photoshop. He'll help you refine your image processing techniques.
• Have fun with these amazing tools and take with you skills that will benefit you long after the trip ends!

Robert, I appreciated your patience, long hours driving, and funny stories.  You always found the time to answer my photography questions. Your expert suggestions were very helpful in getting the images I was striving for.  Plus your knowledge of the environment and the birds were extraordinary. I learned so much by listening to you.

Ed did a great job getting us to our destination every day.  His taking the time to teach us Lightroom after a long day was most appreciated. I learned a lot.

Lastly, having Mike on board, with his contagious laugh, was fun. He was always willing to answer any questions we had but was most helpful especially with our luggage.  

The accommodations were beyond what I expected especially Fisher's Loft.  It doesn't get any better than that.  Plus all the savory food (some not so savory) that we sampled along the way.  It turned out to be a culinary delight.

I will cherish these memories forever.

What a wonderful 10-day trip! I have never gone on one of your photo trips and I was pleasantly surprised. I have never had so much packed into a trip as I did with this one.
The best parts were seeing the puffins, icebergs, and gannets, etc. Robert, you were very helpful going around to each of us, giving us tips as we were capturing our images. I also liked our sunset excursion. What beautiful colors! You also talked about creating photographs as were driving, so we're always in the mode.

Ed was very helpful in letting me download my images to my external hard drive from his computer. 

Mike was a coordinator extraordinaire. He helped plan this trip out so well. He was also very helpful to us with our luggage. All of you were. His pictures and videos came out very well.

The seafood was very good as well as the hot chocolate at Signal Hill. I did not try cod tongues or moose. Oh well. 

I thank all of you for such an eye-opening experience.

Eventually, I changed over to the digital camera. I participated in monthly seminars and weekly classes at the Robert Floyd Gallery in Southampton, MA. My photos were exhibited at the gallery as part of group and juried shows and the House of Art, in Monson, MA. My interest in birds began while on  a trip to Newfoundland with the gallery.
