Hands-on photo workshop adventure in Nova Scotia.

2442 miles, 10 days, 9 nights, 7 different beds in 6 different cities, 5 ferry crossings, 3 friends, 1 whale watch, uncountable photo opportunities - from Massachusetts to Nova Scotia and back.  Fabulous vacation and learning adventure.

Robert’s prior travels to Nova Scotia proved to be monumental in picking out highlights for photographic opportunities: ie; Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, Kejimkujik, Hopewell Rocks and all the lighthouses and harbors in between.  With Robert looking over my shoulder and pointing out different angles to point my camera lens and giving advise on exposure compensation, I had the photographic adventure of a lifetime.

Would I go on another photographic adventure with Robert? IN A HEARTBEAT!!

I think  the itinerary certainly gave us the opportunity to see some amazing sights and yet have time to enjoy good conversation and good food with each other, as well as a bit of downtime.  And it's only since being home that I realize that due to the abundance coastal and inland towns to explore, Nova Scotia can easily be placed on the "places to return to" list!!  It is certainly both a culinary and scenic wonder .... and I was very glad to have been a part of the group.  I also think that with as small group as ours, it was much easier to communicate the start of each day, the plans laid out for the day - both plans 'A', 'B' & sometimes 'C' - and easier to take any detours along the way. 

I'm very glad to have taken the opportunity to venture on this trip and have you share your knowledge and love of the area with us. The trip also helped me realize that it may be more important to focus on 'being in the moment', rather than getting caught up on trying to capture the 'perfect' image, to appreciate what I'm seeing at the moment ... so, it will be fun just to see what I was able to capture!

Thank you for all the time & effort you put into mapping out our destinations, driving the distance and being the most well versed travel guide I've experienced yet!
